    IBM A31 Dual Screen lockup

    Good morning,

When I have dual displays on my A31, I am getting random system hard lock ups. Now when I just use 1 display I can work for hours with no issues. But as soon as I hook up the second display I can count on a hard lock up happening at anytime.

Has anyone seen this issue, or know where to point me for more research. I am not sure where else to look.

    Thanks

    Here is my current xorg.conf

Re: IBM A31 Dual Screen lockup

Have you installed the proprietary drivers? You need the linux-restricted-modules-<your kernel> package, where <your kernel> is the out put of the console command "uname -r". You may also need "xorg-driver-fglrx". Also, I'd make sure both screens were synced.
