    X Not loading

    I can't load X

I think my problem has to do with a conflicting nvidia/intel chip set. I have on board graphics but I am using an aftermarket pci graphics card (Geforce 5200 FX).

    Code:
(II) I810: Driver for Intel Integrated Graphics Chipsets: i810, i810-dc100,
    	i810e, i815, i830M, 845G, 852GM/855GM, 865G, 915G, E7221 (i915),
    	915GM, 945G, 945GM

    ...

    (II) LoadModule: "int10"
    (II) Reloading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/libint10.so
    (II) I810(0): initializing int10
    (EE) I810(0): Cannot read V_BIOS
    (EE) I810(0): VBE initialization failed.
    (II) UnloadModule: "i810"
    (II) UnloadModule: "int10"
    (II) UnloadModule: "vgahw"
    (II) Unloading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/libvgahw.so
    (II) UnloadModule: "vbe"
    (II) UnloadModule: "int10"
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.

    Fatal server error:
    no screens found
    Any help?

I have tried the VESA driver and still got nothing.

Posting your /etc/X11/xorg.conf might help with diagnosing this.......

          Re: X Not loading

Please take a look at this Wiki Page. Basically, you have to add a new Device section to the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file for your video card and then set that as the default device.
