NO Sound !!!

Have installed Kubuntu, 6.0.6 and with all updates, on my Mac,
all went well... expect for NO SOUND, no sound for video's nor mp3?
when trying to play them, the application open, however, NO SOUND output... ( I just change over from ubuntu (in which I did have sound))

And mute is not ON. its off.

So, what needs to be change to fix this bug?

This is a virgin install, and updated, nothing else was installed....

if this is needed, why wasn't it install as default?
next, where or how does one install this?

Had to re-do the source list, and then I saw the file you mention.

it work, for mp3, but amarko has a problem with .flac files....
testing now with video.
