Changing a logical partition into a primary partition?

Okay i really scre...ed up this one. I need winslow for macromedia products (flash, etc) and wanted to resize my winxp partition (c, hda1) using partition manager from paragon. to do this i had to change the win part. into a logical part. resize and should have changed it back into a primary part. after resizing. Now the win. part is hda5 a logical part. so it won't boot.
Well i forgot that little bit and don't have a working rescue floppy for part. manager.
Plus there seams to be a primary part. hda1 (free) but it is only 7mb large.
so my part. table looks like this:
    hda 1 free 7mb
    hda2 extended 117 gb
    hda5 ntfs
    hda6 fat32
    hda7 swap
    hda8 home
    hda9 root

Does anyone have an idea how i can change hda5 back into a primary part.?
I need my nacromedia stuff for work and really don't feel like reinstalling winwp all over again.

    Cheers in advance

There's a live CD called Gparted (http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php) that might do the trick for you. But be careful. You could potentially erase the partition you're trying to fix.

I don't know that this can work its magic if your Windows partition is NTFS, but it's a good program.

Thanks randcoop, no it does not work. But i managed to merge hda1 and hda5 and make it primary with the recue cd i found. Now the win part. calls itself hda3 and is primary but it won't boot here is the bottom part of my grub menue:
        Other OS

        title Windows 95/98/NT/2000
        root (hd0,2)
        makeactive
        chainloader +1

        any ideas?
