so i have a laptop. HP V2000 ... here is the hardware in question:
0000:00:14.5 Multimedia audio controller: ATI Technologies Inc IXP SB400 AC'97 Audio Controller (rev 02)
it seems to be a standard AC'97 audio controller. Only one problem - it worked before, but i intstalled ATI's Radeon 200m driver (so i could get better multimedia capabilities), and now, though i can modify the settings for it, sound won't come out of the speakers!!!
Could someone help me reconfigure this device?
