Hi,

I am going to be replacing my mother board and adding some memory to my system. It is curently loaded with Kubuntu 6.06 all the latest updates.
Is there anything I should be aware of when I bring Kubuntu up on the new hardware? Any gotcha's? Things I should do before shutting it down?

Backup your /home directory tree. I'd say /etc as well, but your new hardware will probably make much of the /etc tree obsolete.
