i think i posted something like this earlier when i was still using the livecd... well now everything else is working .... so i need to make the wireless work now...
basically, i have a Compaq Presario V2000. It has the wireless card in it. Kubuntu detected it and lists it in the network system settings module. However, while i can enable the ethernet card, the wireless card thinks for a long time, starts, then quits half a second later. Kwifi couldn't find any networks.
Does anyone have a clue what could be happening?
