BEST WEBCAM FOR KUBUNTU 6.06

Could anyboby tell what is the best webcamera which has no problem with installation on Kubuntu? And is it possible to connect 3 webcams alltogether on one PC. It is Kubuntu 6.06 (Tapper Drake), I'm looking forward and dont know what to buy. Any help highly appreciate. Cheers.

I don't know about connecting webcams together but I have a Creative Webcam NX Pro and in Dapper it worked straight out of the box.

could u tell me how to use it, i've installed all drivers and seems to be ok, but which software can i use to test it, to see the videostream? Cheers

I have a Logitech Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX.  Plugged it in and works fine in Kopete.

it is possible to use 3 cams at once if they are network cams.  Just need a switch between the cams and the box.  network cams ain't cheap.  The other way is to have a multi port video capture card.  Check out zoneminder.com  for more info on cards and cams.
