Hello,
running Dapper now on a VIA KT-400 board and USB stops working after a while.
I have tried noinotify boot option, added the ivman package but still does not work.
I checked /var/log/messages but there is nothing interesting, except for "USB at address 6 disconnected" type of stuff.
What's interesting - my USB mouse still works without a problem.
When I do lsusb as root, it hangs. Have to reboot to get the thing in order.
Used to have similar problem on Breezy but it got fixed by downgrading to the original kernel (2.6.12-9, I think). Did an apt-get dist-upgrade to Dapper and now I am sort of stuck since I really do not want to do a fresh install (MythTV setup and all...).
Any ideas anybody?
