I have an HP Photosmart 3310 wireless printer/scanner/fax unit that was working great using wireless under my old distro. However Kubuntu only ships with HPLIP 0.9.7, and wireless scanning support was only added in HPLIP 0.9.8.
Besides my very real annoyance that 0.9.8 was released way back in January and was not included (nor any of the subsequent 3 or 4 releases) when Kubuntu did ship with a beta version of Cups, can anyone suggest a way to get this working? Does anyone know if there's a backport floating around anywhere?
