KDE updates stuffed parrallel port printer

installed KDE updates.

Now my parrallel port Canon BJ230 inkjet printer begins to print automaticall as soon as I boot - even before logging in!

Not only that, it prints in ASCII, and KDE Print shows that the info is coming from stdin, and the doc seems to be related to KDEPrint, as that is part of the info printed, along with my PC name, user name etc.

Funnily enough my USB Brother printer/scanner works fine.

Help please.

OK, removed Canon printer entry with intention to reinstall.

Problem - No drivers installed, even for the basic BJ10

Something is obviously missing, so what did I need to install?
