how to setup a Belgian keyboard?

Hey, wondering if any Belgians have managed to setup their keyboard. It is azerty now, but not be2-latin1 (or something).

Consequence: I can't type the "at"sign (for email etc), ...

Anyone knows how to config this?

    TIA,
    Mootjes

have you tried to check the checkbox "Latijnse indeling insluiten" on the configuration screen (Regio en toegankelijkheid, Toetsenbordindeling) ?

Otherwise you can check /etc/X11/xorg.conf, with me the keyboard section reads:
    Section "InputDevice"
    Identifier "Generic Keyboard"
    Driver "keyboard"
    Option "CoreKeyboard"
    Option "XkbRules" "xorg"
    Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
    Option "XkbLayout" "be"
    EndSection

Hey, thanks for the answer. I tried what you said (changed xorg.conf and settings in "kcontrol"), but without succes.

Just remarked that my "/", "-", ... from the keypad(?) (the keys on the right of the keyboard) don't work either. Kind of frustrating

      Any other solutions?

      TIA

Hmm seems to be because of xgl... Works perfectly now. tx!

Can you explain a bit, I have a small but irritating keyboard problem myself (explained in another thread, the Capslock problem) ?
Maybe this can help me too.

Seems kubuntu + xgl is not the perfect combination. When I turned off xgl, and changed it to the normal xorg, the keyboard worked again.
