    ATI Radeon Express 200m

    Hi,

I have a laptop with an AMD Athlon 64 CPU and an ATI Radeon Mobility Express 200m video card. Since I don't know anything about Linux I haven't been able to get it working with Breezy as there are a few compatibility issues. My question is, will Dapper fix these issues?

I'm only installing Linux because I'm curious about it so waiting until june or whenever the final Dapper comes out won't bother me if it works "out of the box" for my laptop.

    Thank you.

Hiya. There is a thread on another forum that was discusing this matter for the ATi Radeon drivers, and how to install the The ATI Proprietary Linux driver.

Actually, when I installed Dapper, the normal ATI driver worked out of the box for me, only when I wanted to play with XGL/COMPIZ did I need to install fglrx.
