Exactly the same problem here on a freshly installed FL6.
I've tried what is suggested in this thread: http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/index.php?topic=3870.0
No positive result.
Someone knows how to deal with this?

Well, a recent update solved the problem. But still, I can't get to the end of the process of adding a new printer with the kdeprint wizzard. It's always crashing upon pressing on "finish" (or "terminate" - I'm using KDE in French).
Also, there's no way I can add a new printer with the CUPS specific web interface (i.e. on http://localhost:631/) since it requires a username and a password different from root and from mine as a user. Anyway, according to the Home section, administrative commands are disabled by default.
Anyone has a suggestion on how to solve this problem?

Then again, after a new upgrade, evertyhing is working now, i.e. I can add a new printer and print with it.
