Hey everyone! I'm a noob when it comes to linux and I need some help.
I installed Kubuntu and installed fglrx and everything was working great. I then decided to listen to some music and...oh no...it doesnt work. So I figured I needed the Nforce drivers so I go ahead and download them and the installation went fine but my problem is trying to read the release notes that comes with it. It says some distros have a modprobe.d folder, which I do have but it says nothing about where I should put the info they give me.
So my question is where do I put this:
alias sound-slot-0 nvsound
alias snd-intel8x0 off
alias i810_audio off
The weird thing is all my system sounds work but when I try to listen to some music with amaroK or Kaffeine I get no sound at all.
