New PCIe card - now KDE wont start

    Hi All,

I have been running 6.10 LTS since it was released using oboard graphics. I bought a new XFX 7300GS PCIe card. Unfortunately, KDE wont start. Linux boots successfully, does it all it needs to but it seems to crash just when KDE shoudl be starting up.

I set my BIOS to use the PCIe card and not the onboard anymore.

Does anybody have any advice for me? I really dont wanna re-install.

EDIT : I forgot to mention that if I remove the card and use my onboard graphics, it works fine. Also, the card is compatiable with Linux cos I managed to boot into Knoppix Live CD with the new card.

    Thanks
