Photosmart C3150 All-in-one

Hi folks,

I'm running Dapper and love it. Have had a few minor issues, but nothing I really can't deal with or work around. But I just bought a Photosmart C3150 print/copy/scan and got the printer side to work easily, but cannot get xsane to recognize the device as a scanner. HPLIP is installed.

I did the prefuntory forum searches, but have found no data that has worked. Any thoughts? Let me know if you need more data from me.

From what I read, the 3150 is the same as the 3100. Linuxprinting.org lists a suggested driver

Launch firefox and enter the address

localhost:631/admin

The rest should be fairly easy to follow. Remember to use the suggested printer number and driver from linuxprinting.
