Package libvirt-bin is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package 'libvirt-bin' has no installation candidate

Has the package name been changed or do need to add a repo or what?
I am trying to install win 10 pro in a VM so I can use a native DLL in wine to get Evil Genus 2 working. According to the thread on gethub/proton getting this game to run is a pita for the proton devs. EG2 was released on March 30, 2021 and became the 1 most played game on Steam in less than 24 hours!
Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be.

there is no libvirt-bin past 18.04, whatever random internet instructions you are following are old, or simply wrong.
if you just want virt-manager, and all its trimmings, simply installing virt-manager will install all the rest as dependencies, iirc. I have all those and I did nothing but install virt-manager some time ago.

Good luck, expect problems, a bit of work, probably more problems, and other fun stuff, particularly with graphics
Installing Windows is not hard. Getting a useful refresh rate will take extra steps, and 3d acceleration, I dunno how much effort that will take.

Have you rebooted or (re)started the libvirtd daemon, shown in the error message?

Never mind. Linux rookie mistake. I forgot when you make a change to the system you need to...REBOOT!

The guest keeps turning off while installing the OS. What is the problem?

I tried destroying the VM and recreating it but it still turns off when I try to install Windows 10 Pro. I bought a valid key and downloaded it from Microsoft's official site.

                Turning off or crashing?

According to the unofficial Steam Proton database, plenty of folks have gotten EG2 running on Linux. Have you tried that route, by chance? Certainly the game would perform better than using Windows in a VM.

When I install qemu/KVM all I do is actually just install virt-manager, like Claydoh suggests.

IF you look in .cache/virt-manager/virt-manager.log you most likely will find what is causing your problem. My suspicion is that you have a faulty setting.
