Hi, I wanted to put a shortcut / button on my menu to lock the screen. I have shutdown, reboot and logout but I would prefer to have lockscreen, sleep and shutdown. I'd be grateful to know if this is possible to configure? Many thanks

Yes, there is a way to add the existing Lock button to your Favorites on the menu.
I just did this, so it is not just theory! Left click to open the launcher. Hover on Power/Session, slide over and right click on the Lock option which brings up the context menu entry to Add to Favorites. Click on that entry and it will show up in the Fvaorites list along the left edge of the menu. The next brick house on the left

You can also use meta-l to lock the screen. the "meta" button being the button on the bottom left of the typical keyboard that is sometimes referred to as the windows key, and often has the Windows logo on it. The "l" being a lower case "L".The next brick house on the left
