Hello,
New ish kubuntu user. In windows (i know, groan...) if you have a folder on your desktop and double click it, it'll open in a new file explorer window. I'd like to do the same thing here on kubuntu. The current behavior is odd. I have only today decided to put a couple of folders on my desktop.
I double click them and nothing happens. If I open Dolphin I can easily navigate to them. If I right click, I can't open them. In the "File Type Options" dialog (from the properties of one of the folders) , the "Application Prefernce Order" lists Dolphin first. I thought this would allow my desired action to occur, but no. It'd just be handy if I could double click and a new dolphin window opens. Thoughts? Ideas?
I searched a bit but didn't find anything. Well aware that this issue may have already been sorted in something I didn't find.
