I have a brand new PC with
Operating System: Kubuntu 20.10
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.74.0
Qt Version: 5.14.2
Kernel Version: 5.8.0-29-generic
OS Type: 64-bit
Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 4750G with Radeon Graphics
Memory: 30.8 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: AMD RENOIR
Everything is fine except for the screen freezing/blurring/going black after a few minutes of running Zoom or YouTube (sometimes the sound continues). Only solution is a hard reset. I have done an extensive memtest which passes with no errors. The output from 'inxi -Gx' is:
Graphics: Device-1: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD/ATI] Renoir vendor: Gigabyte driver: amdgpu v: kernel bus ID: 08:00.0
Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.20.9 driver: amdgpu FAILED: ati unloaded: fbdev, modesetting, vesa
resolution: 3840x2160~60Hz
OpenGL: renderer: AMD RENOIR (DRM 3.38.0 5.8.0-29-generic LLVM 11.0.0) v: 4.6 Mesa 20.2.1 direct render: Yes
Is anyone able to provide me with suggestions (I am not a noob, bit am definitely not an expert).
Thank you in advance.
