Setting download folder Brave browser

Hi!

I have been using Brave browser for a week now and am very happy with it so far.

The only issue I have is the fact that I cannot successfully choose the folder/partition I want to download to.

Screenshot the folder I chose is FintanGastro but the subfolders are not correct. See screenshot:

Don't know if it can be of any help, but,
I just installed Brave. Quite impressed, I must say.
Not only it imported everything flawlessly, it's got things... it has TOR private browsing, and I don't even have TOR installed :·)
I tried to change the download location and it worked just fine.

There may be a "problem" with your actual location.
Have you tried enabling "editable location bar" in Dolphin, Configure Dolphin, Startup, and seeing what is says there when at the chosen location?
Or - at that location - F4 for a terminal, ll (for ls -la) and/or ll ../

That is not a Plasma file dialog, at least I don't think it is.

Well, yes, I get the KDialog little window too, but seeing that the screenshot one has a Brave icon...
