Don't use Plasma Wayland

I have Kubuntu 19.04 with Plasma 5.16.2. I want to have Plasma, not Plasma (Wayland), as my default desktop. I can change the default desktop to
Plasma on the login screen, but when I reboot is goes back to Plasma (Wayland) again upon boot. How do I configure Plasma, not Plasma (Wayland)
as my default desktop? Thx, Gus
