Getting rid of Kontakt

Hello all!

Can I safely rid mysself of Kontakt? I mean delete or better purge it.

I never use it for anything and at boot I always get a message telling me that korganazer hase to be restarted. Why? I don't need it.

Any thoughts very welcome.

If you do a clean install in the future, using the Minimal Install option will leave that out, as well as games and libreoffice.

I was just remembring when I deleted, or tried to delete Internet explorer from Windows XP. I had a big surprise on reboot

Just to be sure, does this apply to all of kdepim?

yes, all of the KDEPIM stuff. And Akonadi, if it doesn't get removed with it. You don't need that if you don't use Kontact.
