Hi,
I updated to KUbuntu 19.04 and have since some screen problems. I have a NVIDIA Quadro K4000 graphic card with two identical screen. While the first screen is correctly recognized and I can choose a resolution of 1920x1200, the second one is said to be a generic one with a maximal resolution of 1024x768. Strangely, in the xorg.conf file, both devices and screens have the same configuration.
When I choose to install the NVIDIA drivers proposed, I have same problem in nvidia-settings. Moreover, the rendering is highly unstable. The computer sometimes freezes and the whole system is very slow.
Any ideas are welcome.
Thanks in advance.
Update: I found that the cable of one screen had problems. Once changed, both screens were recognize as identical. But the NVIDIA driver is still unstable and makes my system freezes sometimes.
