Google and my watch say it is 4:26 A.M. in Salt Lake City but my Kubuntu 18.10 desktop says 10:49 P.M. I checked and it is set to Denver time. It was correct a while ago. Why I will try rebooting in case it's a hardware fault.

Rebooting fixed it. Weird... Never seen Kubuntu do that before. The only software thing I have done recently on my end was to run a muon update a few hours ago. Could that have messed something up? It didn't say a reboot was required.Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be.
