I have a Dell 9575 Laptop with a Dell TB16 Dock, I am trying to get my external monitor to work with it. Under windows and gnome it works correctly but when I plug it in with KDE, it sees the monitor for a few seconds, but shows no available resolutions(in the system settings), then it goes away, then it comes back, then it goes away, rinse and repeat. I am never able to select it it, it also makes the OS pause and be laggy during this constant connection process.
When it is connected xrandr -q shows the display with the correct resolutions, until it disconnects.
I am running 18.10. I have taken a snapshot of my system log, and also tried removing all my kscreen settings.
