How can I see the sound level of microphone input at all times? e.g. overlay
I have a microphone with a physical on/off button, which works maybe 95 percent of the time. The other times it looks like the microphone is off, but it is actually still capturing all the surrounding sounds.
As you can imagine, this can a big issue in work meetings, but I'm trying to solve it without buying a new microphone.
Is there a way to always show the level of sound input somewhere in the corner of a screen, e.g. as an overlay, above all other windows? The idea is that I would notice if the overlay lights up, and will re-click the microphone to get it to turn off properly.
