I recently got a new Asus laptop, and I have Windows 10 and Kubuntu on it. Today my laptop was really warm for some reason, and when I tried to boot Linux it wouldn't work, but it would go to Windows. My dad was over so he did some stuff to it, and about an hour later it started working properly and he doesn't know why. What should I do if this happens again? Why did it happen in the first place? Thank you!
The things my dad tried were:
Turning fast boot on and off
Turning secure boot on and off
Booting from the live USB
