    [SOLVED] GIMP Plugin Vanished

I use Gimp (2.8) a lot, and especially the 'healing' tool plugin. For some reason this disappeared today. When I look in the usual menu under Tools, Enhance, the Heal option isn't listed, it's not even there and greyed out.

There was a massive Kubuntu update/upgrade procedure recently - maybe this removed it or did something, or maybe it was something I did.

I have completely forgotten how I installed this plugin in Kubuntu. I'd be grateful for advice how to get it up and running again. Without it GIMP is useless in my not very capable hands.

    Thanks!

    This worked:
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install gimp-plugin-registry

Interesting that, given you 'had' it installed, that it got uninstalled (my assumption), requiring you to reinstall it.
