Here in New Zealand, is there a language pack for en-nz? Might be a bit tricky, containing Maori (place-names at least) ... and if so, where? Not showing in Muon installer

What applications?
Any Kubuntu-specific spell checking would be through Qt, and only work for Qt apps. I use Firefox, LibreOffice, and vim, and they accept Ngaruawahia for me with the language set to English-New Zealand, using their own mechanisms.
Given the IMO appallingly backwards attitude taken to regionalization in Qt5 (compared to Qt4, which IMO wasn't great) I wouldn't expect anything useful through Qt.Regards, John Little

p.s. I bet you got/get gyp for your name. I did: Real name Dexter (named for Ted the cricketer) but was ribbed all through school for the radio comedy "Life With Dexter" - contemporary.Last edited by Fester Bestertester; Oct 14, 2018, 01:30 PM.

You mean you haven't plugged my pseudonym into google? Shame on you! Fester Bestertester is the creation of Don Martin (matching initials there as well as the similarity of character's first name!), prominent cartoonist for MAD Magazine. He has an 'offsider' too, Karbuncle, and they got into, out of and through some hilarious escapades, mostly lampooning humanity's / society's ridiculous foibles.Last edited by Fester Bestertester; Oct 14, 2018, 03:25 PM.
