[SOLVED] Simple temp and CPU monitor?

I can't remember what exactly I had in 14.04. It was a simple tabular monitor for temps and CPU usage %, and it had a thermometer icon in the system tray. Anyone know what that might have been?

I want a basic monitor that I can keep on the Desktop. I did try lm-sensors + psensor, but it all has to be started at command line and not fixed on the Desktop. lm-sensors would be OK if it had a gui that was right.

Won't there be a Conky script for what you want?

      psensor ...

I use it all the time on my Kubuntu platform. Simple, configurable.

I use a widget called Thermal Monitor.

          Another vote for psensor.

I've got psensor already. That is the one I was trying to remember, it has a small thermometer for tray icon, which is what I was asking. And it has the GUI I am after. Found all this under Applications > System, which I didn't see at first. And I configured it to come up at start.

Forgot to say this is solved. It is psensor I was looking for (as I also had it in 14.04). It works with lm-sensors. I didn't try the Thermal Monitor widget, but I made a note of it as a To-Do. Thanks.
