If you have copied text output that contains formatting (colors, highlighting, etc.), please do not enclose it in QUOTE or CODE tags. Just right-click your mouse and choose "Paste Without Formatting" or similar (Paste as plain text).
Without knowing more specific info, I will guess the sdcards are formatted as exfat, so you might try installing exfat-fuse and exfat-utils. You can use the partition manager to check what type of formatting it has. If it is exfat it will bark and complain when you try to modify or edit it in the partitioner or when trying to open it in dolphin.
