    No more volume slider

    Hi guys,

    I've lost my volume slider, I don't know why (it was working perfectly before) from one to day to another.

    On plasma notification it's not even present the volume control.
    If I go on the system>Multimedia my sound cards are there (one integrated + one HDMI via monitor/display).

    So I can hear the sound, but the little volume slider in the bar it's lost.

    I've tried to install plasma volume slider, but it crashes. Tried to re-install alsa, pulse audio, phonon, etc etc, zero results.

    aplay -l && arecord -l

    It's there any way to add the volume slider in the tray?

    It's there any method to reset completely Phonon to re add the devices to the plasma tray?

    Thanks to all :-D

    =========================

    Ok I solved this:

    I don't know why but there was missing this package:

    => plasma-pa

    So I reinstalled it with:

    sudo apt install plasma-pa

    Then closed the session and reopened.

    Problem solved :-D

      In the options of the system tray be sure Audio Volume is checked. hit apply .. if its checked uncheck it hit apply and re check it apply again.
