    kdesudo command not found

    I'm confused by this absence. F. ex.:
    Code:
    $ kdesudo gparted
    kdesudo: command not found
    Now, the KDE menu entry for gparted works fine, and ps tells me pkexec(1) is being used.

    Also, running the KDE partition manager from a konsole tells me /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libexec/kf5/kdesu is being used.

    For a long time here in KFN the advice "don't use sudo, use kdesudo for graphical programmes" has been given often. What do we say now?

    Note that this question is not about running dolphin as root. Discussion about that has been voluminous in many forums and lists, et cetera; I'm not trying to add to that here.
    Regards, John Little

    Is it likely, now, that when administrator authority is required, that you will be prompted for your password, meaning you launch the program normally?
