[Internet] Kmail in Kontact won't download all my google mail.

Hi Everyone.

I have connected to my google mail with Kontact and it won't download any of my mail newer than October 2017. I had this working in Kubuntu 17. This is only a problem now I'm running the 18.04 Beta.

I don't get any errors or failed connections. I have another email account connected to a different server (not Google) and it works fine.

Any ideas for what I can do would be a great help. Let me know if I have posted this in the wrong forum. I'm new to Kubuntu.

correct forum but long standing problem.
do a search and you will find an untold number of threads on this situation.
I have had Kontact go back and forth so many times for YEARS that about a year ago i moved to another client.
Maybe somebody else will pop by to offer a solution.

Thanks for the quick reply. It's a shame because on the surface this looks like a great program. I would like to do what I was doing in Outlook (thank God I moved on from that). I had to use a third party application to connect to Google with Outlook.

I'll do a search and see what I come up with.
