[PLASMA 5] Plasma loads on only one virtual desktop Fresh install

Hey y'all,
Plasma only loads on one of my 10 virtual desktops.

On the other virtuals I just get a black screen, although apps run as normal.
There's just no panel or background etc

Any ideas?

How much RAM is in your PC?

Should do it

Only 2gb on the graphics card tho

Have you tried using Activities instead? They're just like virtual desktops, just a bit more "complete".
Maybe they would work...

Just to complete this thread tidily ...
I just re-installed 18.04.
Then all desktops worked fine.

I need to reopen this.
After the fresh full reinstall as above, all has been working fine.
I have 3x acctivities on 10 vuirtual desktops, which has been excellent.
But ..
As of this morning plasma has been erratic, as above.
I have the activities and desktops, but plasma does not show on them.
I ccan switch between all, but there is no panels, no backgounds etc ...
I've rebooted, ofcc, several times , I've run apt update/upgrade but solves nothing.
Also my keystrokes are behaving funny, sometimes printing too many characccters (like that) and sometimes too few.

The issue would seem to be plasma related to me.
Any ideas?
I'm on a dell 7810 workstation, 18.04.

I'm wondering if I should try to upgrade plasma to the latest, but perhaps that would just compound problem?

Perhaps there is a plasma config or cache I can look at?
Any suggestions?

So I thought I would give Neon a go...
All installed and running fine
But after about an hour the same issue appears.
I have (had) the same 10 virtual desktops and 3 activities.
I've tried deleting and resetting them is sys settings.
No go.
(I've worked out the keyboard is a fault for the keystrokes- so that's not related)

Anyone?
