I'm running 18.04 on an Asus laptop with an Asus external monitor plugged into the laptop's HDMI port. The external monitor desktop is set as the primary desktop. When I close the laptop lid the external monitor stays active but I can't find how to access the virtual keyboard if I have to type something. How can I add the virtual keyboard to appear as a widget or otherwise?
