      Nope, Dell Latitude D820. Still works, but I need software which is moving to 64bit support (game engines). Need money...
      Kubuntu 24.11 64bit under Kernel 6.12.3, Hp Pavilion, 6MB ram. Stay away from all things Google...

        Thanks Acheron but that's something different. The current understanding is that, in fact, the Ubuntu Desktop will now be supported for 10 instead of 5 years.

          Given the context and venue of Shuttleworth's speech, and other bits of discussions and verification I can't find links to back up, I think Acheron is correct. He knows his stuff

              Sounds like all they've got is hearsay. Meanwhile, other sites are reporting that the support applies to the desktop --- also hearsay probably. Sounds like Shuttleworth is the only one who knows what he means.
