I think at this point it would be better to back up important files and download the .iso and do a complete fresh install. I have never really had a good clean upgrade from one major release to another. Seems something always goes wrong. JMHO.
Even if you get a good upgrade you still end up with a lot of loose 17.10 items in your system.

      Hi ChaturBauka,

your paste to ubuntu.com works ok.

As a start, apart from the errors/warnings you shared, how does your Kubuntu 18.04 behave after upgrade?...
If it behaves normally, then you shouldn't worry too much

That said, this particular warning is a bit worrying anyway:
      W: initramfs-tools configuration sets RESUME=UUID=0ccd1659-2a73-4461-96f0-86934ab343cc
W: but no matching swap device is available.

Can you run the following two commands one after the other (no need for root privileges) and check if UUIDs match?
      grep swap /etc/fstab
      lsblk -f | grep swap

The reason could be that there is a reference to a swap partition in your /etc/fstab that doesn't match any existing partition/UUID... In that case, you should replace the wrong UUID for the swap partition in /etc/fstab with its correct UUID (as listed by the lsblk command above).

      Regarding...
Error! The dkms.conf for this module includes a BUILD_EXCLUSIVE directive which
does not match this kernel/arch. This indicates that it should not be built.

I'm not particularly knowledgeable with DKMS, but the last part of the message seems to indicate that your kernel/arch does NOT require some module building... Anyone please correct me if my understanding is wrong, but it doesn't look like a real issue I'd say...

Lastly, about your AMD GPU: not an issue neither IMO if no proprietary driver is available for it (and no surprise since AMD rewrote their driver from scratch a few years ago and as a - sad - consequence no longer support older cards - "older" being Radeon R7 cards for instance, which as a matter of fact is what I own).
Unless my understanding is wrong again, since a "firmware" is mentioned here, not a driver... What's your card model?
