Issues with HP TrueVision HD after latest update

Hi guys,

Tried to google with not much luck.
After the latest update my built-in camera started to play up. Initially it was just flickering (turning on and off every second) in video chat app (Hangouts) and Cheese was not able to work with it although showing it as detected.
I restated with previous kernel (.72) but still same. Rebooted, updated again and managed to get it working in Cheese but still flicker in Hangouts.
lsusb shows it properly.

did you manage to resolve this issue? have you tried any other video applications (e.g. skype, qtox, jitsi, telegram...) just to test the camera?

After 2 updates nothing changed. In fact now Cheese stopped recognising the camera. I don't use anything else unfortunately
