Intel Baytrail CPU's Still Have The Freeze C State Bug?

    Hi,

I was using Windows 10 Pro 64Bit for a few months for Unity game engine,
but have now come back to Linux where I feel most comfortable.
(using this now to run Windows 10 on Linux)

i am running a "Baytrail" Intel Celeron which has the C State freeze bug on *ubunutu.
Was hoping this was fixed but it's still an issue with 18.04.3.
    The bug is listed here.

Any ideas when this bug will be fixed? (perhaps 20.04 LTS?)
    Let me know, thanks!

    Jesse

Can't tell for sure, but the bug report seems to indicate kernel 5.3 *may* have a patch to hopefully alleviate it.
There is no set kernel version for 20.20,it is a bit too early for that, as they are not working on it yet, and kernels don't have set release dates. Seems likely at least 5.3, probably higher.

However, there is always Ubuntu's mainline kernel builds, which have RC versions of the 5,3 kernel, so it may be worth testing

At least they found a way to fix this, as Intel sure didn't help much, if at all.
