i have two monitors attached on the PC. one is TV, one is LG monitor attached via VGA. Only VGA output is enabled.
when switching Battle for Wesnoth to full screen the game switches off the main monitor and transfers picture to TV which.
1. how can a game switch to a disabled monitor? system setting and GPU setting should take precedence? Who gave permission to change the video output?
2. why does the OS have issues with resolution setting (e.g. when exiting the game in different screen resolution the screen will stay in the games resolution.
3. using wine and Dosbox also causes resolution issues. : https://www.kubuntuforums.net/showth...lution-on-exit
4. even running some native Steam games in full screen can occasioanlly cause issues when returning to the OS.
GPU card is Nvidia GT 730 using proprietary drivers.
i dont' see what GPU driver would have to do with the way apps cvan override system and GPU settings. this should not happen.
