Hi! On my keyboard I have a key for ½ (below Esc, above Tab, left of 1). I have bound a keyboard shortcut to Meta+½. (The shortcut is "toggle main window" in Amarok.)
I have noticed that on my Kubuntu 17.10 laptop, this shortcut is unreliable. Sometimes when I boot up, this shortcut just doesn't work - it does not trigger no matter how many times I press it. Sometimes when I boot up it works fine.
It is not Amarok's "toggle main window" command itself that is flaky. If I change the shortcut to e.g. Meta+Tab it works perfectly fine.
I have used this combination for this purpose for years on my other machine (desktop computer) running Kubuntu 16.04 and earlier versions, and on that machine I have never had problems with it.
Does anyone have a clue why this might be? Is there a way I could debug this?
