After update today my pulse sound is gone. Doesn't show in audio. No input and no output. I checked in synaptic and pulse is showing as installed. I tried reinstalling but did not work. How do I revert back and remove updates or even see which one were updated in terminal.

Yes, that's exactly what happened. So it wasn't the update but me ticking the square box "Enabling Auto switching " that did this. Bug, most definitely.Alienware 17 R2
