My hard drive and cpu have been at 100% for 3 hours now. The system is completely unusable like this. Anyone have any ideas why or what I can do to fix this?

Open a Konsole and run htop.
Besides htop, what other processes are using the most CPU time?

iotop will show you what processes are accessing the hard drive, but GG's guess is the likely culprit.Comment
