    screen locks after 5 minutes

Using an HP Pavilion laptop running Kubuntu 17.04 and dual booting Windows 10. While in Kubuntu the screen locks after 5 minutes of inactivity regardless of the Power settings in System Settings. I have tried various time settings, as well as unchecking all the options. Nothing seems to work. Hope someone has an idea.

Have you tried System Settings> Desktop Behavior>Screen Locking?

Don't feel dumb. We've all been there!

One of the "quirks" of KDE, settings can often be found in more than one place.
