Apparently the Intel vapii driver or whatever it's name is was depreciated at some point. I need it to tell the kernel how to use my GMA45 chip set so my games will function again. I need to burn a copy of which ever version of Kubuntu last had support for it. In 17.04 most of the files are still there, but the kernel files have been removed. One of the reasons I quit using Windozes was because I read that Linux was backwards compatible, so the usr doesn't have to upgrade all the time. I guess it is only backwards compatible for about 9 years then you either use a previous version of Kubuntu and risk lose of support or the usr is forced to upgrade the computer like with Windows.
Anyway which version should I downgrade to? I know, I probably have to burn it and do a fresh install. I doubt there is a way to literally downgrade.
