So today I had to plug in my printer to print a form wile I was running this new install of 17.04 ,,,,,,,I did just that ,,,,,plugged it in and turned it on ,,,,got a popup to install printer ,,,,,clicked it ,,,,,,,printed the document ,,,,no prob

I had a similar experience. When my new HD came I decided to do a fresh install of Neon User Edition, part of which involved installing HPLIP. When it came time to install the printer I plugged my HP P1606dn into the USB socket and immediately was presented with the HP Device manager showing the printer as installed, INCLUDING the duplex printing capability!
