    Muon Issues

    Hi. having issues with muon where when I try to install or remove a package it just hangs and says waiting for service to start. here's the terminal output, when run from terminal. (it does this regardless of kdesudo or not)

    Muon doens't require running as root. Just launch it with muon.
    Windows no longer obstructs my view.

      I have done this as well and it's the same story which is why I tried running as root

        Are you having any similar issues with any other applications?

            Verify that everything in your home directory is owned by 'you'. Specifically, is anything in your home directory owned by root?

              I actually had some permission issues recently and did a chown -R user:user /home/user/ a few days ago

                    Try reinstalling muon: sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install --reinstall muon

                            Was muon working previously, while you were using Underworld? I'd try switching the Desktop Theme back and loging out/rebooting.
